The film is an entertainment masterpiece for a generation that lived vicariously in the 80s. It is a decade that could easily be called the Greatest Decade. No ISIS. No Al Qaeda. No Vietnam. The USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics – ah, but that is a column for another day) crumbled. College campuses were free-speech havens. The Space Shuttle. Magic and Bird. Showtime. “Do you believe in Miracles? Yes!” The Great One. Montana, Elway, LT. The Big East. Glam rock. Big Hair. Hard Rock. Alternative Rock. Pop. Hip Hop. MTV. ESPN. And in the cultural epicenter naturally making it all spin was Sunset Strip, the nexus of Rock ‘N’ Roll. No band epitomized 80s Rock ‘N’ Roll more so than Mötley Crüe.
