BioShock Infinite Release Date Moved to 2013
Take-Two Games announced today via their website, that BioShock Infinite has been pushed back to a February 26, 2013 global launch date. Creative Director of Irrational games, Ken Levine, said:
“When we announced the release date of BioShock Infinite in March, we felt pretty good about the timing. Since then, we’ve uncovered opportunities to make Infinite into something even more extraordinary. Therefore, to give our talented team the time they need to deliver the best Infinite possible, we’ve decided to move the game’s release to February.”
If you haven’t been following the news about BioShock Infinite up to this point, here are a few quick details we’ve learned about.
- First-person shooter assuming the role of ex-Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt.
- We will be helping our “friend” Elizabeth escape from a city that is literally dropping out of the sky.
- It looks absolutely fabulous (see blog post images).
- The title will be released for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
