It’s a new year and we all know what that means – resolutions to get fit. If you think about it fitness is more about time management than exercise. If you are willing to dedicate a minimum of seven minutes a day to exercising you can get fit. Pleasuring oneself or walking the dog around the block does not count. Here are a few apps we found that can help you get fit in 2015.

What caught our attention immediately when swiping through the App Store, besides the Editor’s Choice button, was the 7 minute workout screen shot. This app is exactly what we had in mind a few years ago when we were discussing internally the ideal fitness app.
7 Minute Workout “Seven” with High Intensity Interval Training Challenge
We see a theme emerging, 7 minute workouts. This app demonstrates for you different workouts you can complete in 7 minutes covering gym cardio machine favorite’s cardio and fat burn as well as personal trainer favorites to increase speed and power as well as improving your flexibility.
Johnson & Johnson Official 7 Minute Workout App
Ok, it is official. 2014 was the year of the 7 minute workout app. Another highly popular app that provides exercises you can complete in just 7 minutes. This app comes with over 1,000 different exercises and you can integrate with the Apple Health app. Our Editor in Chief decided to give the free exercises a try. It may be just 7 minutes but at the end he was wiped out. Perfect for couch potatoes and the obese.
