Question, how do you top a film that grossed $260 million worldwide? Better question, why even bother? But, Sandler, Rock, James and Spade think they have a winning formula on their hands and are going for the gusto. We believe we have stumbled across one of their secret ingredients, a cast of thousands.
What, you think we are joking? Did you know that the first thought that raced into our mind when reading the credits and watching the trailers for this flick was, “who is not in this movie?” Immediately, it became clear that maybe we overreacted as you won’t be seeing Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Justin Timberlake, Chevy Chase, Tom Arnold (why mention Tom Arnold? – why not), Seth Myers, Jay Leno or David Letterman. But, that is just about everyone in Hollywood and from SNL that won’t be appearing in this film. Normally in the credits for a movie we list three to four names. As you can see above, we went a little over that this time. The names we left out are equally impressive in their own right.
As far as the flick is concerned, it automatically gets two thumbs-up since our cover model April Rose plays a hot Russian dance teacher in the movie. Plus, Jon Lovitz always makes us laugh and he has a role in it as well. But, then again, besides the aforementioned stars who doesn’t, right?
We believe co-star Chris Rock sums up the flick best, “I wanted to be funnier than Spade, Spade wants to be funnier than Kevin, and Kevin wants to be funnier than Adam. You just can’t help it, if you’re a comedian.”
